Artist's Comments
This is one of five pieces I created for my senior show. My theme was the different races of elves found in D&D (Dungeons and Dragons).
They are currently up in the gallery at Moore College of Art & Design. These are the Wild Elves, they live out in the plains/desert area of the D&D worlds. Think Africa/Australia. They are basically the 'savages' of the elven cousins. Note the war/body paint. ^^ artwork (c) Sarah Hagenmaier (me) |

Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization. Open to all mediums. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
